BTPN Job Vacancies. PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk – Bank BTPN is one of the largest private banking company in Indonesia. The Company established in 1858 under the name of Bank Pegawai Pensiunan Militer ( Bapemil ) and in 1986 changed its name to the current Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional ( BTPN ). The majority shareholders of BTPN owned by TPG Nusantara S. a. r. l, a subsidiary of US global private equity, TPG Capital. As of year end 2010, the bank operated 1, 056 branch networks in 234 cities in Indonesia.
Based on BTPN annual reports 2010, BTPN grew its loans by 48 % to Rp23. 3 trillion in 2010.
The name of the bank later changed in 1986 to the National Pensioners Savings Bank until today. BTPN status was upgraded from savings banks into commercial banks with the issuance of business permits in 1993. In March 2008, the Bank became a public company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
